Muller Van Severen is presenting a new exhibition at ANDREAS MURKUDIS Store 77 in Berlin together with Belgian artist Willem Cole. This exhibition can be seen as an encounter, a meeting, a conversation. Chairs, lamps, tables, shelves and rugs by the Belgian design duo are shown in conjunction with the concrete abstract drawings by contemporary artist Willem Cole, who is also presenting new mosaic rods for the first time.  Next to their mutual love for colour and research, Muller Van Severen and Willem Cole are also constantly flirting with the boundary between art and design. While Muller Van Severen’s designs appear to be created almost intuitively and with total effortlessness, the art of Willem Cole, based on three basic colours with more or less white space in between, demonstrates how a manifold of varieties can emerge out of utterly limited set of basic differences.
