Neon is first shown at New Work, an exhibiton by Muller Van Severen back in 2014. Sturdy glossy lacquered surfaces and bright rusted steel structures are combined with these glass garlands. With neon Muller Van Severen revitalizes an old technique that has long been used to create lighted lettering for bars and clubs. Unlike a normal garland, neon is made of glass and isn’t bendable at all. It’s rather fragile. Neon comes in white, yellow and pink.
