chair 2

Chair 2 is part of a set of objects made for the Bahrain pavilion at the World Expo 2015 in Milan. The pavilion was created by the architect Anne Holtrop. Chair 2 is made of light aluminium, making it a very versatile and easy chair to handle. The backs and seats are high gloss paint, referring to the New Work series. The lacquer contains the texture of a brush stroke giving the chair a warm and human touch. Different color combinations are available, as well as versions with brass and copper backs and seats.

The chair is handwork made in Belgium.
